How The Contract Is Formed Between You And Us
Our site is only intended for use by people registered with us and resident in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. At our complete discretion we may accept or reject orders from people outside of these territories.
You must own all rights, title and interests in any phone(s) that you send to us.
Ownership of the phone(s) will pass to us when we receive the phones, in accordance with these terms and conditions, and we have dispatched payment to you, when, hence, a contract will be formed.
The contract between you and us is binding on you and us and on our respective successors and assigns.
You may not transfer, assign, charge or otherwise dispose of a contract, or any of your rights or obligations arising under it, without our prior written consent.
We may transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of a contract, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time during the term of the contract.
You may cancel the contract with us at any time up to the time when you send us the phone (“cooling-off period”), providing:
- the contract was negotiated and concluded exclusively by means of distance communication (including, but not limited to, telephone, letter, fax or email); and
- you are a natural person acting outside the purposes of any business.
When cancelling during the cooling-off period, you need not give us any reason for cancelling the contract, nor will you have to pay any administration charges.
To cancel the contract you must notify us in writing.
Other than if the phone does not meet our terms and conditions (see below), this contract cannot be cancelled after you have sent your phone(s) to us (outside the “cooling-off period”).
PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ARE HAPPY TO SEND THE PHONE TO US AND THAT IT IS WITHIN YOUR RIGHTS TO DO SO.
By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:
- You are resident in Great Britain or Northern Ireland; and
- You are accessing our site from that country; and
- You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract; and
- You are at least 18 years old; or
- If you are under 18 years of age, that you have obtained your parent’s or guardian’s consent to sell your phone to us for the sum indicated via our website.
You and your parents or guardians release us of any liabilities or claims that may arise if you send the phone to us in breach of this warranty.
If you deal as a consumer any provision of this contract which is of no effect to a consumer shall not apply. Your statutory rights are not affected by this contract.
For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “consumer” means an individual who neither makes this contract in the course of a business, nor holds himself out as doing so, as defined by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.

- You are authorized to act on behalf of the registered business; and
- You are based in Great Britain or Northern Ireland; and
- You are accessing our site from that country; and
- You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
Phones and Devices
Each mobile phone or device sold should match the make and model in the sale order and meet the following conditions:
Faulty Each mobile phone or device should:
- Include its battery (you can keep memory card, charger, etc)
- Be intact – not crushed or snapped in half
- Not have any missing parts or components
Faulty examples: Water damaged, Broken/bleeding LCD (screen), blank display, no power up, faulty/cracked touch screen, faulty operating system, etc
All Apple iPhones and devices must not be ‘activation locked’ and must be deregistered (removed) from any iCloud (Find my iPhone/iPad) accounts. All phones and devices must be on a UK network or not locked. Phones or devices locked to a foreign network will not be accepted.
By submitting an order through our site you warrant that the phone(s) comply with these terms.
If a phone fails to meet our terms and conditions we’ll propose an adjusted price by email. If you choose to decline our new offer, we are happy to return the phone. We have the final decision on all phone values. Adjusted orders will be automatically processed for payment if you do not reply to our proposed offer email within 7 days.
- We accept phone battery chargers and accessories. We may not be able to return accessories or original packaging (box) if you request your phone to be returned.
- You are responsible for cancelling any airtime contract linked to each handset. We are not responsible for any call costs arising before, or after, receipt of your handset, or arising from any other circumstances whatsoever.
- Please ensure you remove your SIM card before sending us your mobile phone. We accept no liability in the event that a SIM card is sent with a phone and charges are then incurred. You shall continue to be responsible for such charges. Any SIM cards received by us are non-returnable.
- Please remember that by sending your phone to us, you agree to release us from all and any claims, losses or damages with respect to the phone, any data stored or contained therein or on any media used in conjunction with the phone (whether in the form of personal details, SMS, photos, games, songs or other data (“Data”)). We accept no responsibility in relation to the security, protection, confidentiality or use of such data and it is your responsibility to ensure that such data is removed from the phone prior to you sending it to us. Please use our free Mobile Data Delete Tool to obtain step-by-step instructions on how to delete personal data from your model of handset.
Lost or Stolen Mobile Phones and Devices
Selling a mobile phone or device which you do not own may amount to a criminal offence. Warp9 Distribution support and adhere to the ‘Stop Stolen Mobiles Being Recycled’ code of practice set by the Home Office and the National Mobile Computer, Phone Crime Unit.
We will check the IMEI/Serial number of all mobile phones and devices received on the CheckMEND (www.checkmend.com) database of lost and stolen property records to ensure no lost or stolen items are purchased.
If a mobile phone or device is found to have a record that indicates it has been lost or stolen or we become aware of any other issue relating to its ownership, we will notify the seller by email and quarantine the mobile phone or device for an initial period of 28 days (“the Quarantine Period”). Payment for the mobile phone or device will be withheld by us until the CheckMEND record does not show the mobile phone as stolen or lost.
In such circumstances you will be required to contact CheckMEND to prove that you are the rightful owner of the mobile phone or device and have the lost or stolen records associated with it cleared within the Quarantine Period and/or resolve any other issue relating to its ownership.
If during the Quarantine Period the mobile phone or device is cleared on the CheckMEND database and any other issue relating to ownership of the same is resolved, your sale will be processed and paid for as normal.
However, where the mobile phone or device is not cleared on CheckMEND within the Quarantine Period, we will be required by law to hold onto the mobile phone or device, pass it to the Police or other law enforcement body or dispose of it, and by entering into this contract, you expressly agree to this action. You will not receive any payment if such steps are taken.
UK legislation states that we cannot under any circumstances return or pay for a mobile phone or device which is lost or stolen or recorded as such.
If you have received payment from us for a mobile phone or device which we subsequently become aware of an issue relating to ownership, you agree to immediately reimburse us in full, within 3 business days following a written request by us, for any such payment pending an investigation by us or any law enforcement body into ownership of the device or mobile phone.
If we at any time become aware of any issues relating to the ownership of the mobile phone or device, you agree to co-operate with us fully with a view to resolving the issues. You may also be contacted by the Police and/or other law enforcement authorities.
We may disclose seller details to the Police or other authorized bodies (such as, but not limited to, network operators and insurance companies) for the purpose of investigating or preventing a crime. By entering into this contract you agree to us supplying data to the police or other authorized bodies for the purpose of the prevention and detection of crime, arrest and prosecution of offenders or for the recovery of stolen property.
Prices offered on our website are subject to change at any time without notice.
When your order has been placed, the prices quoted are guaranteed for 14 days from the ‘Order Approved’ date. (This is the date on which we send you a confirmation email and Freepost Mail Label to print out.) If your phones are received after 14 days from the ‘Order Approved’ date, the up-dated, current prices will apply. This could be disappointing – so to help you, we’ll send a reminder email during the 14 day guarantee period.

When we receive your sale items, we will check that the sale is complete, and that it meets our terms and conditions. Providing it does, we will make payment to you, by paypal, on the same day of receipt (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Same day payment does not apply to sale items received after 2pm (most are) and in events that are out of our control.
Events Outside Of Our Control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control or due to our compliance with any applicable laws or regulations.
Computer, Phone and Tablet Repairs Service Terms and Conditions
Prices are subject to change. Promotional items state the price and duration and such prices only apply at the time of the promotion. All prices are inclusive of VAT and delivery charges except otherwise stated.
No Fix, No Fee Policy – This does not cover all repairs, such as water damage and diagnostic. However, each case will be individually considered and a full refund will be handed out based on our discretion.
Non Refundable Repairs:
A few of our repairs are non refundable, this includes liquid damage repairs and/or liquid damage related repairs and diagnostics if you decide not to proceed with the repair.
All repairs (with the exception of software related, battery and water damaged devices) come with a 3 month warranty. Battery related repairs come with 3 months warranty. This excludes faults relating to physical or accidental damage or if the device is opened whilst in your possession. If the nature of the repair falls outside the terms of your warranty or guarantee, then you may incur a charge for the repair.
Our warranty does not cover repairs on Wifi Faults on the I Phone 4 and 4S.
If you take your device to a third party after it has been repaired by Computer, Phone and Tablet Repairs this will void the warranty on your device. This includes both repaired and purchased devices.
All software related repairs will not be covered by our warranty.
The warranty only covers the original repair. For example, if you pay for a screen repair and the screen becomes faulty, you will be covered with a 3 month warranty. If any additional faults occur that are not related to the original repair this will not be covered under warranty and will need to be paid for.
The warranty for refurbished phones and tablets sold by Computer, Phone and Tablet Repairs differs depending on the device and only covers manufacturing defects. If the fault is not related to this or happens outside of the warranty period, an extra cost may occur. It does not cover physical or accidental damage.
With all refurbished devices sold by Computer, Phone and Tablet Repairs, the battery will only be covered by a 3 month warranty.
If your device is damaged beyond economical repair through our negligence or willful misconduct, our liability will be limited to the cost of providing a replacement with a product that is the same or similar to your device. You have sole responsibility for any data store on your device and we accept no liability for loss or corruption of such data howsoever caused. It is your responsibility to keep a record of any such data.
When sending in a damaged device, our technicians will probably need to open up the device to either diagnose or repair it, this comes with an element of risk and may result in some minor damages to your device. We do everything possible to ensure this doesn’t happen, however, if it does happen and the damages are significant we will offer a replacement or repair.
We will not be responsible for any damage or fault caused by a previous repair.
When sending in your I Phone or Ipad for screen repair or home button repair, Computer, Phone and Tablet Repairs will not be held responsible if the Touch ID feature does not work after the repair is carried out.
Repair Process & Delays:
We aim to repair your device within 24-48 hours of receiving it. This is just an aim we target as a company, this is not a promise, as every repair varies in time and difficulty. Although 99.3% of all repairs get done on the same day, sometimes we encounter further issues that slow the repair down.
If for any reason your repair will take longer, you will be notified with the reason and the estimated completion date. Alternatively, you can check the repair tracker to see if there has been any new developments in relation to your repair.
If we need to order in new parts, the repair process may be delayed. We will keep you updated throughout the whole process.
Please be aware diagnostics may take longer than usual repairs as our trained technicians take time to look at every element of the device and check for faulty parts.
Please be advised we cannot guarantee your device will be repaired after we diagnose the fault. 97% of devices that we diagnose are repaired.
With screen repairs on Samsung Devices we will only carry out repairs using full lcd/digitizer/frame complete parts.
Liquid Damage repairs can take up to 7 – 14 days.
Any Motherboard related repairs can take up to 7 – 14 days.
Any Software related repairs can take up to 7 – 14 days.
Any time estimate for completion of the repair service, which may be given to you, is an estimate only and does not form any obligation under the terms of this agreement.
When you send your mobile device in to us for a repair, it is rigorously tested by a qualified member of staff sometimes additional faults are found. If we find an additional fault with your mobile device we will send you an additional repair payment request via email. It is your decision if you choose to proceed or not. If you choose to go ahead with the repair, once we receive payment, your mobile device will be passed back to our technicians to continue work, if you choose to decline, we will stop work and send the mobile device back as it is. If you have any queries about the additional repairs, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
Water Proof Repairs:
Mobile devices that are sold as being waterproof are originally sealed in the manufacturers factory with special machines and special liquid proof gaskets.
When we carry out a repair on a waterproof device that involves opening and closing the device we cannot guarantee that your device will be 100% waterproof after the repair process has been completed. We replace all gaskets required but only the manufacturers of the device have access to the specialised equipment required. However, we always use grade A parts and use the best possible techniques.
Our trained testers and technicians always test the device on arrival and before it is dispatched. We test many different aspects of the device, including the buttons, vibration, sound, cameras, charging port, Wifi, speakers, signal, front screen, LCD display, power settings and much more, to ensure we don’t miss any faults and provide the best service possible.
Please ensure your data is wiped or back up via your operating system before sending your device to us. Our repairs are done in a professional manner but we cannot guarantee data will be on the device on return to you. We do not offer a data recovery service. Pin Locks and passwords must be removed before you send your device to us. We advise that all sim cards, memory cards and accessories are taken off the device before sending to us for repair, as we will not be liable for the loss. We may need to update your iOS to ensure the repair is carried out correctly.
By releasing your mobile device to Computer, Phone and Tablet Repairs, you agree to release us from all claims, damages or losses with respect to the mobile device, any data stored therein or on any media used in conjunction with the mobile device (This could be in the form of personal details, SMS, photos, games, songs or other data). We accept no responsibility in relation to the security, protection, confidentiality or use of such data and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that such data is removed from the mobile device before sending the device to Computer, Phone and Tablet Repairs.
If you wish to cancel your repair, you must do this before we open the device, and your order will be fully refundable. Once we have opened the device and depending on the repairs that need to be carried out, we may not be able to cancel, however, if we can, an additional postage charge shall be deducted from your repair cost.

Emailing & Messaging:
We aim to answer all emails and messages within 24 hours. This may be slightly longer if you email or message us during a Sunday or Bank Holiday.

The diagnostic fee covers shipping costs only and will be deducted from any repair cost if you decide to go ahead with a repair.
The diagnostic is in process throughout the duration of the time your device is in our possession as this is an ongoing operation.
At Computer, Phone and Tablet Repairs we will not repair any device that has been bricked, blocked or jail-broken. The device will be sent back and the customer will be refunded, however, if it was sent in for a diagnostic or liquid damage this will not be refunded.
If the device has no IMEI number then we will not repair the device. This is for security and warranty purposes, the device will be sent back and the customer will be refunded, if it was sent in for a diagnostic or liquid damage this will not be refunded.
All discount codes carry a minimum spend of £60.00 for it to become valid. Discount codes cannot be applied to additional repairs which may be required.
We will attempt a re-repair on your mobile device twice after the initial repair. If after this, the mobile device is still faulty we will issue a refund. We will need to see the mobile device and make sure its faulty prior to issuing a refund. This does not include diagnostic and water damage related repairs.
Please note that if our packaging is checked out as an additional option, this is only available for 1 time being sent out and not multiple times, this service can be sent out additionally if it is checked out once again.
14 Day Money Back Guarantee:
If we have carried out a liquid damage, screen or mother board related repair on any of the following devices and error 53 appears on the device, we will not be held accountable. This is an issue with Apple and not due to the repair carried out by Computer, Phone and Tablet Repairs and it will not be covered by our warranty.
